Don't Stop Believin'

~ Barney Green- Money Matters!!! ~

NOW PLAYING:

Seems that I am ready to go again to make an impact with my moves. People are gonna learn to take me seriously just by what I am doing now. Nobody will ever doubt my ability after the PPV when I win the Universal Championship and beat Hardcore Smitty. But first, I have to make a pit stop against Ace Wylde, Psico Payaso, and "The Wraith" Scott Charlotte on Massacre. No problem because Anjelleka Slayter, RJ Palmer, and myself will show them what a true winning team looks like.

Back to Ace Wylde yet again. You may be some veteran off the independent scene but guess what, I have seen you before. I never wrestled you in a match though but I know your style of wrestling. I can beat you with ease. Your little stable is no match for our power. You are just an old man that looks like he can get injured just by walking. I mean, Seriously. I used to think I was made of glass until I met this guy.

Time to talk about Psico Payaso. I love how you call me a butterball. That the best you got? You mention the fact I cut a promo for a match a month away. How does that bother you? Are you that desperate for my attention that you resort to insulting me? Go back to the circus because you are barely worth my time. You call me the weakest link on my team but in reality, you are. I can easily sit here and cut two promos in one day like a boss. I will win against Hardcore Smitty and win the Universal Title. I don't care if you like it or not because I am the best wrestler the XWF has right now.

"The Wraith" Scott Charlotte. Mr. Wannabe Scarecrow. I will look you straight in the eyes and tell you that you don't intimidate me the slightest. I have fought bar room brawlers that look more intimidating. Halloween is in October in case you didn't know so remove that stupid mask. You look foolish. Maybe I should put on a mask and call myself El Gordo Americano. No matter how you look at it, you are still the same person you once were.

I finally made it back home to Las Vegas. My home for years while I ran BG Studios. Filmed many movies and some tv shows but the company failed because i was an alcoholic. I admit I failed the business. I was still learning the business and wrestling on weekends. Alcohol ruined my life but I might as well enjoy a drink or two before I go out in style.

My knees may crack due to my weight but that is nothing to be worried about come Massacre. I am getting into better shape now as the battle lines are drawn. I stare down my opponents ready to strike. Ready to show them how an Irishman solves their problems. My smiling Irish eyes aren't doing much of that right now. They will smile when I walk out the PPV with the Universal Title around my waist.

Will I sign an extension to my contract as it expires the next day? I haven't decided just yet. I figure I will let the world know at Anarchy if I signed a new contract yet. If I don't I am leaving with the belt. If I somehow stay, I will only defend the belt in the match of my choice which will be an eating contest. I can still out eat the majority of the roster.

I am doing this for me and me alone. I honestly don't care what the fans think or say about me because I am better than them. I equal ratings. Those stupid fans come to my show and watch me wrestle. I make more money in a month than half of those idiots make in a year. I may be called an asshole but guess what, I am. I look out for myself and do what I have to. I will make you believe the truth and your time is done. The Green Dream gets locked on and you will tap because I won't let go. Maybe use the Goodnight Kick. The Kenny Rogers Driver is in my arsenal as well. These words are true and you can put in your pipe and smoke it.

I am a hillbilly. What can I say? I got crooked teeth and a lazy eye but guess what, I get results unlike those people that talk a big game. The ones that suddenly shrivel up when you call them out on their bullshit. I bring the moves into the ring. I am standing my own ground against whoever you wanna throw at me. They have learned the truth about me now that I am done being called a joke. Later.

The scene opens up inside of The Luxor hotel and we see Barney Green, holding a strawberry daquiri in one hand, talking to Jeff Night and Davis Starfire. Green takes a swig of his daquiri as Starfire goes to speak.

Davis: We are ready to go out and have some fun. Let's start gambling and get drunk.

Barney: Now, you are talking my language. You should get wasted and gamble in a casino. It's always fun. Then afterwards, have sex. That is what I miss about Las Vegas. Being able to come and go as I please. It was always fun for me. Get drunk at the bar with Foley Anderson. I wish he was here but he doesn't really like me anymore.

Jeff: What happened between you and him, man?

Barney: That idiot named Ryou Bakari Itemri poisoned his mind about me. Saying I was a bad guy and whatnot because I would drink all day. His loss, I guess. I got you and Davis around which is a good thing.

Davis: Thanks, Barn. I think you are a great guy as well and I thank you for coming out here to party despite putting your relationship into possible trouble.

Barney: Don't worry about it. Just focus on today and having fun. I will deal with that problem when I return from being at sea for a few days. I need to also focus on my opponents as well in peace. I would rather be with my friends anyway.

Jeff: Let's go play Blackjack.

Barney: Watch out, here we come.

Green, Starfire, and Jeff head towards the blackjack tables as Green finishes his daquiri. Green throws the empty cup into a trash can. They enter the casino and go to sit down at a blackjack table. Green goes to speak first.

Barney: Whats the minimum on this table?

Dealer: $50.

Barney: I am down for that.

Green reaches into his pocket and pulls out his wallet. He pulls out three hundred dollars and then shuts his wallet. He hands it to the dealer to get chips. The dealer hands him 6 $50 chips. Green hands 2 $50 chips to Jeff and 2 $50 to Davis.

Barney: Time to go, bro. Watch our money go up and if it goes down, oh well. At least we are having fun.

Jeff: Amen to that, man. Thanks for giving us these chips.

Davis: Thanks for the chips. Now, let it roll.

Dealer: Time to start the next hand. Please place your bets now.

Green throws in a $50 chip and Davis does the same. Jeff goes to speak.

Jeff: Can I get two $25 chips instead, man?

Jeff exchanges a $50 chip for two $25 chips. He bets $25. The dealer shuffles the deck and goes to deal Green.

Dealer: It's a 3.

Barney: Hit me. 9. Hit me. 7. Stop. That puts me at 19. I am gonna stop there.

Dealer: Okay. Your up, sir.

The dealer reshuffles the cards and deals them towards Davis.

Dealer: It's a 10.

Davis: Hit me. 5. Hit me. 7. Damn it. Thats a 22.

The dealer takes away Davis chip and cards. The dealer reshuffles the deck and deals a card towards Jeff.

Dealer: Ace.

Jeff: Hit me. 8. Hit me. 2. BlackJack!

The dealer hands Jeff a $50 chip.

Jeff: This is awesome, man. I just won.

Dealer: Back to you, big fella. Let's see the results.

The dealer shuffles the cards and starts dealing them to himself.

Dealer: 5. King. Jack. Dealer busts. You win.

The dealer hands Green over another $50 chip.

Barney: Luck of the Irish I guess.

The scene fades to black as they continue to gamble.

Time to have some fun and show you what it is all about. I can out drink anybody any day of the week. I still got that iron liver and can pound back shot after shot even though I am a recovering alcoholic.

I just look forward into this match as its my chance at redemption on Nemesis for attacking me on Massacre. You can't keep me down because I will get right back up. You thought you had the advantage but now we are on even ground. I may be an odd man but I can easily handle my own in any situation.

You may have gotten the upperhand which was expected in a three on one situation, you idiots. Now its at even strength and you aren't gonna be able to handle that. Hell you barely beat me in that fight. Make you feel proud. Doesn't it? You had to call for backup in a one on one fight. I have never relied on backup to get the job done. I handle it straight up. I don't care how many people you try to send. You won't get the upperhand again.

Now, time to move on to another subject. My opponents are that afraid of me they have to come at me with a group. I still got Brutus Briefcase if he is needed. My trusty briefcase. I won't quit and I sure as hell won't back down from any of you clowns.

Even when I lived in Las Vegas and was rich, I solved my fights one on one. I didn't need to hire goons to do that. That just shows how much of a coward you really are. I can easily look into your eyes and tell you that.

I am gonna go bang some people tonight. Don't know if its gonna be a girl or a guy. Proving I can last all night. I am a winner now. No longer that loser you once used to see. Take a look at what I have become. I work all these jobs and bring in the money you wish you could. I also paint houses and earn even more money. Look at the benjamins and the franklins. I am a new man. The Green you once knew is dead and gone.

I tried to be a romantic person when I was a drunk but it only went so far. I live my life the way I want to. I used to think I was born to drink and wrestle. I used to follow what the fans wanted in the ring. Am I prepared for this match? Not really. Too much on my mind right now. I am Barney Green, the man from Boston. I am having doubts about that though.

I used to live by the bottle. When you are in rehab, It's like a big wave of mental anguish as you struggle to learn how to live without drinking. Look at Shane MacGowan of The Pogues. He stopped drinking and is still going strong at 54 I think. I figure I will at least make it to 52 years old as I have stopped drinking.

The time is slowly ticking away for this match as I get ready to make a statement. Make my presence known. Let the hate flow through me and hurt whoever comes towards me. I welcome the challenge. Try to take me down and you will just fall.

I got it all right now. A hot girlfriend and money flowing right now. I am actually on a winning streak which is a rare thing for me as I usually don't have wins come in bunches like this. I will take it though and run with it as I prepare for Battle On The Boat. I will be glad when I am away from the incompentent Eric Anderson. He is always getting drunk at the concession stand. It once took me three weeks to actually get paid because he kept losing my check. That stopped when I slammed him up against a wall. He suddenly found it.

The fans tried to feed me lies by cheering me when all they enjoyed was me making a mockery of myself in the ring because I was so loaded and drunk. Now, I am all about myself. I learned the truth from Mistress Randi. She saved my life while I was floundering around in life trying to find myself. Battling my alcohol addcition which was cured in rehab.

Massacre is gonna be entertaining as I come out and win yet again. Up that streak to three wins. Bringing me to 9-8-0. Right now, I am doing some .500 wrestling and I am tired of it. I will take down Nemesis with RJ Palmer and Anjelleka Slayter by my side. Later.
